Publications

The Research Institute for the Languages of Finland is the largest Nordic lexicographical research centre that compiles both normative and descriptive dictionaries. We also publish our findings in the form of academic monographs, articles and lecture transcripts.

We publish two periodicals dedicated to language planning issues, Kielikello in Finnish and Språkbruk in Swedish. In collaboration with various partners, we additionally publish Hiidenkivi, a cultural journal disseminating academic findings on Finnish language, literature and history.
