The Story of a Place Name

This website “The Story of a Place Name” presents Finnish place names. The website is based on the web exhibition Paikannimen tarina (2010), which can also be visited in Swedish and Saami.

The exhibition on place names in Finland 2010

Paikannimen tarina (The Story of a Place Name) was exhibited in the metropolitan area Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa in the autumn 2010.
