Specialist library for Finnish, its related languages and culture

The library houses  specialized reference libraries, comprising a total of over 70,000 volumes covering 1,100 shelf metres.

The collections are open to all scholars and students. No home loans.

The library’s web publications include an English-Finnish Thesaurus for Linguistics released in December 2003.
